According to an article written by Toby Amidor, MS, RD, CDN, a registered dietitian and consultant who specializes in food safety and culinary nutrition, many nutrition experts recommend eating three meals between 350 to 600 calories each, plus one to three snacks between 150 to 200 calories each daily. How many calories you should consume depends on factors like your age, gender, height, weight and fitness level.
