We conducted comprehensive surveys at the largest liver health conventions around the world during 2016 (Boston Liver Meeting and Digestive Disease Week). We asked physicians to rank the importance of factors affecting liver health.

93% of surveyed physicians consider nutrition "very important" or "extremely important". Overall, nutrition is ranked more highly than regularly exercise, alcohol abstinence, and regular medical check-ups.

In comparison, medication was considered "very important" or "extremely important" by only 66% of surveyed physicians.
