No-Sugar Cranberry Sauce

  • Eating cranberries can greatly benefit your liver functions. They also contain antioxidants which help with inflammations in the liver

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups of fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 1/3 Cup of pitted dates
  • 1 Cup of apple cider
  • 1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Preparation time: 20 minutes

    Size: 12 Servings

    Instructions:


    1. Puree the apple cider and dates in a blender until smooth.
    2. Transfer mixture to a medium saucepan, add in the cranberries and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
    3. Cook on a low heat until most of the cranberries have broken down. This should take about 15 minutes.
    4. Remove the cranberry sauce from the heat and stir in the teaspoon of vanilla.
    5. Wait for the cranberry sauce to cool and then it is ready to be enjoyed! It can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks; perfect for preparing in advace!
